On Friday, Shah & I collected a car full of foodstuffs from SHELL Cyberjaya. Thank you so much for your generous contribution of rice, wheat flour, meehoon, condensed milk, MILO, powdered milk, dhall, biscuits, salt, sugar, oil, sardines, books, toys, excercise books, colour pencils, magic pens, crayons, pencils, pens.

These will be distributed accordingly. On behalf of Folks in Kapar, Kuala Selangor, Tanjung Karang & Mentakab - Thank You So Much!!

Friends Of Kapar was invited for a Gala Dinner & Charity Award Night at the Shangrila Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The occasion was graced by Yang Berbahagia Dato Mukhriz Tun Dr. Mahathir, Deputy Minister of International Trade.


On that night Friends Of Kapar was generously awarded with a donation of RM30,000. We are one of four charity bodies which were awarded with such contributions. The others were Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB), AWAM and Lighthouse Children's Welfare Home.


The money donated will be used to pay for the expenses in running The CNC (Community Nurture Centre). Thank You So Much for making a difference in the lives of The Kapar Kidz.

An Evening with Zainalabidin

Zainalabidin, his wife Angelina, their son and some friends from On The Road Magazine visited The Kapar Kidz at The CNC in Kapar.

They brought with them some biscuits, fresh fruits, Maggi Mee, MILO, packets of Soyabean drink.



Zainalabidin chatted with the children and gave them special gifts. He gave them a motivational talk on the importance of good clean & healthy living. He also sang his signature song from Tarzan the movie!



He also sat down for a meal of Nasi Lemak with the children. The children absolutely ADORE him. In The CNC, they secretly call him "Periappa" (Big Father).


After dinner, the children performed for him. Before they left, they "salam" and gave him a hug!
