Saturday, 6/8/2011 (6th day of Ramadhan) - The Rawang Kidz from Rumah Siraman Kasih, Rawang was invited to a Majlis Bebuka PUasa at Tropica Resort Golf & Country Cluchouse by Patrick Thevarajah of The Potter Groupe. A total of 45 boys & Girls plus their Minders were feted on that day.

The children arrived at 6:45pm on a chartered bus. Thet were very excited as it was the Buka Puasa for them at a Hotel. They were however very disciplined and polite minding their ps & qs. It was such a joy to watch them.

At 7:30pm when Azan was called out signifying the end of fasting for the day, the children quietly ate their dates and drank some water. After a little food they went for their Maghrib Prayers. Immediately after prayers they ate their rice and enjoyed the rest of the buffet.

The Rawang Kidz were given "Duit Raya' of RM10 each. Their Minders were also given "Duit Raya" of RM10 per person. On top of that, a contribution of RM1 000 was given to Rumah Siraman Kasih to pay for their electricity & water bill - which is long overdue.

They were led into prayers by their peer who is only 12 years old! They went for their prayers without even being prompted!

Above: As in accordance to the Muslim Tradition - only a lady should give "Duit Raya' to the Girls.

The children went back to Rawang at 9pm.Full of food, happy and RM10 richer!
