It's the thoughts that count......

Chinese New Year is but a memory for most of us but for the Folks in Ijok  - Chinese New Year was celebrated all over again on Sun, 4/3/2012!!

That’s because on Sunday, 4/ 3/ 2012 – Project MADE accompanied  her Sister NGO:  Inner Wheel Club of Petaling Jaya came to SJKC Ijok  delivering a huge Grocery Bags plus Angpows to 7 families of the School under The Post CNY Cheer Prog 2012. These families were short listed by the School. True enough – these families are really in need….

Above: Upon arrival at SJKC Ijok we were "examined" & "questioned" by Mdm. Pang - the HM.She had to inspect The Monster before she could really believed us!! Actually - when I approached Mdm. Pang she did not believe of our intentions. I have never met Mdm.Pang & had only spoken to her on a few occassions only!!

IWC PJ fully sponsored the event. Each family was given a Grocery Bag worth more than RM150 plus an Angpow of RM100 each. The content of each of the Grocery Bag are as follows:

Above: We arrived at 3pm and started our Sorting Process. Her Ladyship Mdm Val Rajaram - President of IWC PJ & Mdm. May Khoo - Coordinator of The Post CNY Cheer Prog came representing IWC PJ. These two affluent ladies had no qualms of getting their hands dirty at all! Check out Val's active participation in the arrangement of the Grocery Bags. May meanwhile was busy ferrying items and is out of the camera's focus....

Above: We even had time to "muck" around & posed for photos. These are for our albums......

The Grocery Bags + Angpows came as a pleasant surprise to these poor & underprivileged families and is welcome respite for ALL of them. Check out the photos capturing these happy moments…..

Above: This lady's husband passed away on Sat, 3/4/2012 after a long illness. The funeral was held at 10 am on Sun, 4/3/2012 - she is not working and has 7 young children. My heart bleeds when i think of the long & hard journey she has infront of her. I am determined to look for ways to assist this family until they are more stable.
