For the 1st time ever, Project MADE co-organised a Medical Camp. The Community Medical Camp @ Mentakab was held on Sun, 10/ 6/ 2012. This Camp was co-organised by Rotary Metro KL, Sai Ananda & Project MADE with the help of our Mentakab Contact Pax – Pastor Steven Arumugam.

This Camp was planned 3 months ago. Plenty of hard work from all parties were involved. Project MADE left KL at 5am and arrived in Mentakab at 7:30am. By then, the Camp was already bustling with activities.

Patients started drifting in as early as 9am. They started trickling in and by 10:30am – almost the whole Town were present at The Camp. There was much festivities. Buses & vans transported patients to & fro…..

At the end of the Awareness Program, they were ushered into The Eye Clinic for a quick eye check. Next was the Blood Testing Centre. Those two being done – they were taken to the respective Clinic. The last Clinic was The Dental Clinic. As an incentive to see the “dreaded” Dentist – each walk-in patient was a given a toothbrush & toothpaste.
