Project MADE & Sri Narayani Feeding Program @ Kapar

The Project MADE & Sri Narayani Foundation Joint Feeding Program @ Kapar for the month of May, was held on Saturday 18/6/2011. For some unavoidable administrative reason, we had to delay the May Feeding. Anyhow, the feeding excercise was carried out efficently and successfully despite the fact that the Kapar Contact Person was not available to assist us during this feeding. Yeap ...we did it on our own with the help of our volunteer Uma who bravely came to Kapar without her husband & family. Uma was our spokesperson for that day as she cheerfully rattled away to each of the families. She was our saviour as she also translated whatever we wanted to inform the families....Thank you Uma, you are a gem!

Pix above: MOTH with his two boys! On the left is Karthik (in yellow t-shirt) - my favourite boy. The lady at the doorway stayed at Shanti Home to deliver her baby, after her husband left her for another woman. When I came around last Saturday, she had already delivered her baby boy and sold the baby for RM3 000. She has received only 50% of the money and are still awaiting for the remainder. She is planning to leave Shanti Home and look for a job in Puchong as a security guard. She is fiercely independent and has refused any help from us.
