Project MADE Back to School Prog 2012 @ Kuala Selangor
continued into its second day on Tuesday, 15/11/2011. The only difference was
that the Back to School Prog on Tuesday was conducted with the sponsorship of
Rotary Club Metro KL.
We
left KL very early and was at the first school at 8:30am. The distribution excercise went in
a clockwork & efficient manner. The children and their respective chools were caught
unaware by our visits and they were gladly surprised…. The Program was concluded
at 1:30pm

RC Metro KL Team headed by President Mr. Ooi and Assistant
District Governor Mr. Bharat with a few other Rotarians - came along to
distribute the back to school items. A total number of 300 poor &
underprivileged children in estates
schools, identified by their respective schools were kitted with school
uniforms, in preparation for the 2012 school year. The 300 school bags, 300
pairs of shoes and 600 pairs of socks were
sponsored by Century Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
