On Friday, 11/11/2011 –Project MADE accompanied our Sister NGO: 1Month 1Charity to SJK (Cina) Hin Hua in Klang for the distribution of back to school items for the poor & underprivileged children of the school. 30 children were identified by the school as recipients under The Back to School Program 2012.
Out of the 30 children – 20 were sponsored by Sr iNarayani Foundation. The remaining 10 were sponsored jointly by both Project MADE & 1Month 1Charity. The children were provided wqith school uniforms,bags, shoes, socks and stationery – in preparation for the school year 2012.
Tears welled in our eyes, seeing the children’s tattered and heavily patched uniforms, shoes and socks – some only secured by safety pins …Both Project MADE & 1Month 1Charity are already planning to include the poor & underprivileged children of Hin Hua in our Back to School Program 2013.
