The BRB Feeding Program 2012 which was supposed to have
started in February 2012, was finally
carried out on Sat, 31/ 3/ 2012. This delay was due to some temporary setback.
SNF Team came in 2 cars. They were represented by:
Mr. Maniyam – a Council Member of SNF & his son –
Mr. Mohan; Mr. Arasu; Mr. Wasudeven – a Council Member/ the Team Leader for
March Feeding & his family: Mdm. Suguna, Mr. Sree Sanker, Ms. Shuwetha.
SNF Team Members deftly & efficiently packed the
various food items on site. It was quite an experience to work with them. Check out the pix below:

The BRB Feeding Program is fully sponsored by SNF – Sri
Narayani Foundation. SNF has generously agreed to provide Food Parcels for 20
Poor & Underprivileged Families for the next 6 months. Each Food Parcel consisted
of the following items:
Rice – 5kg/ Wheat Flour – 1Kg/ Meehoon – 2pkt/ Sugar –
1kg/ Salt – 1pkt/ Oil – 1kg/ Dhall – 1 pkt/ Sardine – 1 tin/ Tea – 1 pkt.
Apart from that – for the March Feeding - Mdm. Sharmini contributed
40 loaves of bread to be distributed to the Families
Nestle (M) Sdn. Bhd. also contributed 20 cartons of
MILO Canned Drinks & 10 boxes of Maggi Mee, these were distributed evenly
to all the families.

Despite of the wet & slushy Saturday – the Families
& the children of SJKT BRB came in full force. There were grateful & appreciative smiles all around from each of the recipients. Most of the recipients are single mothers earning meager income and struggling to put food on the table for their children. Check out the pix below:
