The 1st Cooked Food Feeding Program was held
at The ULC Burmese Refugee Sch on Sun, 1/7/2012 at 6pm. This program was
sponsored fully by Friends of The Vihara Brickfields. The FoV Team was led by
Mr. Ng Chun Hoe.
This program feeds 90 children at The Sch. It will be
carried out on 1st Sunday of every month.

The Meal was cooked at The Vihara’s Kitchen with the
help of 20 FoV Volunteers.

The children were given a sumptuous Vegetarian Rice Meal
as well as 3 pieces of fruits each. The children wore huge grins from ear to
ear. Some of them tore open their package and savour the food there and then.
The older children brought their food package home to enjoy with their families
& other siblings. Check out the pix below:-
