The Light of Cheer 2012 : Syawal Feeding Programmes at various Feeding Grounds were held on the following dates:

Sat, 4/ 8/ 2102 – Kg. Parit Mahang – serving 60 Families;

Sun, 5/ 8/ 2012 – Ijok – serving 20 Families;

Mon. 6/ 8/ 2012 – Puchong – serving 10 Families;

Sat, 11/ 8/ 2012 – Mentakab, Temerloh, Karak – 30 Families

Sun, 12/ 8/ 2012 – Pondok Warga Emas – 30 Families

Total: 150 Families were given Food Parcels worth RM300 each.

We at Project MADE are very proud to announce that this is by far the BEST and the most successful and well planned of our Programmes. We have managed to serve many Poor & Underprivileged Families in many, many unreachable communities.

On top of that a NEW programme was included this year – The Iftar Food Basket Programme which provided Cooked Food for Iftar/ Breaking of Fast. A total of 10 Families were served under this programme.

This is just not possible had it not been for the contributions, donations and sponsorship by our generous Sponsors/ Donors & Contributors.

Iftar Food Basket Prog @ Puchong

The Iftar Food Basket Prog 2012 – was held at Puchong on Sun, 12/ 8/ 2012 at 3pm. The Iftar Food Basket Programme provides Cooked Food for Iftar – the Breaking of Fast. Due to the very short period of time for distribution – 2/3 hours – only 10 Families can be served at any one time.

This is the first time this Programme was introduced . This Programme will definitely be carried out annually but in different areas and serving different families.

For this Programme - Project MADE collaborated with Rotary Club of Metro KL – headed by President Jeya and Inner Wheel Club of PJ – headed by President May. By 5:30pm – ALL the Food Baskets were distributed to the 10 Families.

Each Families were given Food Basket containing: Tomato Rice, Chicken Kurma, Beef Curry, Bingka Jagung, Currypuffs, Jelly, Dates.

There were smiles all around when we arrived to distribute the Food Parcels.

The Food Basket gave the Families a chance to savor good sumptuous meal for Iftar.

Syawal Feeding Prog @PWE

The Light of Cheer 2012 : Syawal Feeding Prog @ PWE was held on Sun, 12/ 8/ 2012 at 11am

PWE stands for Pondok Warga Emas – a Centre for Muslim who are in need of assistance. The Centre is located in Kg. Tunku, PJ.

Project MADE collaborated with The Nestle Surau and distributed Food Parcels for 30 Poor & Underprivileged Muslim Families. By 1pm – ALL the Food Parcels were distributed.

Each Families were given Food Parcels from Project MADE containing: Rice, Wheat Flour, Meehoon, Sugar, Salt, Oil, Tea, Sardines, Condensed Milk, Lychees, Toiletries.

There were smiles all around when we arrived to distribute the Food Parcels.
