Syawal Feeding Prog @ Ijok

The Light of Cheer 2012 : Syawal Feeding Prog @ Ijok was held on Sun, 5/ 8/ 2012. As we were still in the month of Ramadhan, the Syawal Feeding Prog was held early in the morning – taking into consideration that after 12 noon, it would have been too hot and tiring for our Muslim Volunteers/ Sponsors.

As early as 8:30am – we congregated at the Ijok Toll. The contingent of Volunteers/ Sponsors carried Food Parcels for 10. By 11:30am - ALL Food Parcels were safely distributed to the 10 Families.
Each Families were given Food Parcels worth RM300, containing: Rice – 10kg/ Wheat Flour – 2kg/ Meehoon – 2 pkt/ Maggi Mee – 2 packs/ Sugar – 2kg/ Salt – 1pkt/ Oil – 2L/ Sardines – 2 big tins/ Condensed Milk – 2 tins/ Lycheees – 2 tins/ Curry Powder – 1pkt/ Ketupat Nona – 2pkt/ MILO – 1 pkt/ Nescafe – 1 pkt/ Tea – 1 pkt/ Nespray Milk Powder – 1 plt/ Biscuit – 1 big tin/ Power Root Goodie Bag/ Nestle Goodie Bag/ Toiletries Bag/ Batik & Pelikat Sarong.
Some of the Families whom we visited shed a tear of joy and relief at the sight of our presence – Raya would be a cheerful affair after all!
